Friends – once again, we are in the midst of a holiday season and preparing for a New Year! Wherever you are, we hope your holiday season is full of good cheer.
With the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic, these last two years have been hard on all of us. In 2020 we spent long months in quarantine as people’s lives and jobs were disrupted and many industries had to develop new strategies to cope with the pandemic. Now in 2021, we have the development of the Omicron Variant, which has public health officials and governments concerned about the potential for new outbreaks.
Nonetheless, we hope that you will have a joyous, safe and healthy holiday season this year. Whether you celebrate Hanukkah, Christmas or Kwanzaa – or some combination of these holidays – we have a lot to appreciate in the transition to a New Year! Kwasi Asare’s Kente weaving course is a wonderful gift for this holiday season, especially for those who celebrate Kwanzaa. With so many of us spending more time indoors, Kwasi’s course gives us an opportunity to channel our energy positively, peacefully and constructively.
