A Kente cloth workshop for Daughters of the American Revolution

Daughters of the American Revolution put on a number of special events throughout the year. Through the Daughters of the American Revolution Museum, Kwasi Asare will be conducting a special demonstration and workshop on Kente cloth and its history, culture and weaving production – on Saturday, August 3rd, from 10 am to 3 pm. This program is part of the Daughters of the American Revolution World’s Fair event.

The event is free and open to the public. The Daughters of the American Revolution Museum is at 1886 D St. NW, Washington, D.C. 20006.

If you will be in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area, please join us and bring your children, friends and family. Also, if you would like to organize a Kente cloth workshop for your school, church or community please don’t hesitate to contact Kwasi at 202-569-5153.
