Daughters of the American Revolution put on a number of special events throughout the year. Through the Daughters of the American Revolution Museum, Kwasi Asare will be conducting a special demonstration and workshop on Kente cloth and its history, culture and weaving production – on Saturday, August 3rd, from 10 am to 3 pm. This program is part of the Daughters of the American Revolution World’s Fair event.
The event is free and open to the public. The Daughters of the American Revolution Museum is at 1886 D St. NW, Washington, D.C. 20006.
