Hey Friends, after having a great success at the Colorado Black Arts Festival, Kwasi Asare is back in Washington, D.C. preparing to conduct another one of his special Kente weaving workshops!
Kwasi will be at the Sankofa Bookstore Saturday, August 3rd, from 12 noon until 3 pm. This is a great opportunity for people to work with Kwasi’s special handloom and to make your own Kente creations. We have recently revised and edited Kwasi’s online video series, so we have a full package of instructional resources for people to develop an endless variety of beautiful Kente designs.
